Greetings: Delegates of Texas East Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction 2022 AIM Convention,

Oh, magnify with me, and let us exalt his name together. I pray that this communication finds you and your family enjoying the abundant blessings of our gracious and merciful God. I look forward to a great time of spiritual enrichment, training, and fellowship as we gather in the city of DeSoto, Texas, for our 2022 AIM Convention. The AIM Convention has been a staple in our jurisdiction for over fifty years. Many souls have been saved, healed, and delivered. I am godly proud of our newly appointed AIM Chairman, Pastor Philip Oliver, and the entire Texas East AIM Department. Under your leadership, the department has grown significantly. Stay focused, and keep serving the Lord. Forward-thinking is a must in our churches today. Our ministries are faced with reconnecting our youth and how to grow effective ministries during the pandemic. With the help of the Lord, we will unite and use forward-thinking strategies to restore Sunday School, Evangelism, Missions, Youth Ministries, and the Music Department. Willing workers as we assemble to unite, be empowered and ignite auxiliaries in ministry within the jurisdiction. Let's remember our purpose is to build the Kingdom of GOD. Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that GOD's house is filled.

Holy Greetings to each of you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Welcome to the 2022 Texas East AIM Convention!

Thank you, Bishop Robert L. Nichols, Sr., Prelate this opportunity to serve as Texas East AIM Chairman. I am grateful for your leadership, guidance, love, prayers, and support.

The theme this year is, Forward-Thinking, which is appropriate for this year's convention. We have survived the height of a global pandemic, recession, and inflation. Many churches went virtual, and some were forced to close their doors. We now must reevaluate the way we approach ministry, and this will only be accomplished in part by prayer and Forward Thinking. For it is not by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of God that this will be done. I want to thank Vice Chairlady and the 2022 AIM Convention Coordinator, Missionary Vonda Pipkin, and the entire AIM team for their tireless efforts and hard work to make this convention the phenomenal success it has been. Thank you to all the guests' Evangelists: Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole, Elect Lady of Evangelism, Supt. Nathaniel Green, International Youth President, R.L Nichols, Administrative Assistant, Convention Host, and Bishop Edwin D. Love. I would be remiss if I did not publicly thank Bishop R.L. Nichols, Sr., for entrusting me with this task and vision. Thank you to the many visitors, guests, partners, and behind-the-scenes individuals and Texas East for operating in the spirit of excellence! I cannot adequately convey my sentiments of gratitude. I pray that God continues to bless you for all you do for the Kingdom. As believers, we must continue to stand strong, serve, strengthen, counsel, encourage, and support the body of Christ, regardless of what the world is saying, the economy is doing, or who is in political office. I unequivocally believe that our future is better than our past, even in these times. Let us continue to uphold the standards of holiness as we press forward, trusting in him that Greater is Coming!

TEXAS EAST AUXILIARIES IN MINISTRY

The AUXILIARIES IN MINISTRY (AIM) CONVENTION, one of the largest and fastest-growing conventions of the Church of God in Christ, second only to the Holy Convocation, has become an integral part of what has made the ministry of the Church of God in Christ is the global phenomenon that it is today. The AIM Convention, the annual summer convention of the Church of God in Christ, Inc., is geared toward spiritual enrichment, training, education, and fellowship. The Convention, a family involvement experience, brings together five auxiliaries of the Church, Music and Youth, Mission and Evangelism, and Sunday School, as they share three conventions in one setting. With the vast array of training sessions, empowerment, youth activities, worship, and fellowship opportunities, the AIM Convention is calibrated to impact the "total man." MISSION: To advance Kingdom work through Training, Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Service. GOAL: The goal of AIM is to foster effective outreach domestically and globally. The triad conventions operate simultaneously during the week in day sessions and unite each evening for a combined session. Delegates include people of all ages from throughout the United States and 90 countries abroad.

Core values are the building blocks of organizational culture. Defining, measuring, and improving core values can be an excellent vehicle for improving corporate culture. Core values provide a common language to address unacceptable behaviors less threateningly. Core values guide decisions and emphasize what is essential as the organization continues to change and improve. Core values influence performance.
