Anthony Isaiah Carmichael

L IFE R EFLECTIONS OF I SAIAH Anthony Isaiah Carmichael was born on March 4, 2000 to April and Curtis Carmichael. He was affectionately known to his mom as “Rollie Bollie” because he was on 3 1/2 — 4 months trying to sit up but he was nothing but a little butterball, so he would always rock a little bit then roll all the way over. Carrying him was a breeze until the last month, he had gotten so big it was hard for me to breathe. I had the easiest labor with him. I knew then he was going to be an easy child to raise. Isaiah was the 3rd child born to a mother of four sons: Johnathan, Jacob, Isaiah and Jeremiah. Anthony attended Plummer Elementary where he walked to school and quickly began to have a bully in kindergarten because he as a little ladies man and the bully became jealous. Once his brothers got wind of this bully that was the end for that bully!! (lol) He then attended Dermenter Middle School for 7th and 8th grade where he definitely took a liking to several young ladies, he was always singing R&B songs. Isaiah (Anthony) then began high school where he made many friends and even ran into his cousins, Craig Smith Jr. Not only did they attend school together, they played football together, hung out and became the best of friends. Mr. Carmichael went above and beyond to ensure that he would graduate and in the summer of 2018, he did just that. He always told his father and mother he wanted to make us proud, Isaiah definitely made us proud. After graduating high school, Isaiah attended Mountain View College where he took Journalism, Business etc. He continued his education at University of North Texas. He aspired to be a sports caster he followed those dreams by taking Journalism, Business and Writing. He also had a job in college operating the camera for the School Video aka The College News Show. Isaiah transferred to Liberty University, a Christian school, in Virginia State. While there he lived on campus and worked in the school cafeteria. He shared his dorm room with about 7 guys that loved his cooking and always had there plate ready when food was done. He also loved cooking for the ladies who would fight over his food. Due to financial issues, Isaiah returned home around Christmas 2022. Anthony joined Journey of Faith Baptist Church about 10 years ago. He was then baptized by Pastor McGowan where he gave his life to Christ. After arriving home from college, Isaiah took time to contemplate his next steps. Zae got a job working at Royal’s Chicken. He also spent time in the studio creating music, his first love. He helped take care of his disabled mother. He then decided to enlist in the Army. He was accepted and was scheduled to start basic training on September 25, 2023. Anthony had a lot of dreams he wanted to pursue. Isaiah aspired to be a journalist, a music writer/producer, a clothing designer, a counselor as he loved to help people. He also felt he had a calling to be a preacher and bring souls to God. One of the reasons he went into the Reserves is so that he could council and help students at his college.
