Anthony Dwight Sanders, affectionately known to most as
“Rooster” or “Zero” was born on April 25, 1953, in Dallas,
Texas to the parentage of John D. Wade and Clara B.
Sanders. He received his formal education at Dallas
Independent School District and graduated from Lincoln
High School.
He was employed for many years at TXI Cement, where he
retired in 2018.
He was a loving son, father, husband and friend. He enjoyed
riding motorcycles, working out in the backyard, listening to
music, helping others, spending time with his friends, and as
everyone knows, dressing nice.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal
grandparents; father, John Wade; mother, Clara Sanders;
brother, Carey Sanders; and his wife of 27 years, Patrice
Sanders.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Tosha; sons,
Daward “Man” (Danielle), Theodis “ Toby”, Jareion “Jay”;
bonus daughters, Destiny and Trestiny; sisters, Patricia and
Ernestine; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
five bonus grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and
friends that loved him dearly.
