Author Jordan Jr Program

Author Gregory Jordan, Jr, age 41, was born February, 10, 1983 to the parentage of Barbara Ann and Author Jordan, Sr. in Dallas, TX. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 01, 2024 after a sudden illness. Author received his formal education in the Dallas and Irving Independent School Districts. He was gainfully employed with Oldcastle Building Envelope, Grand Prairie, TX as a skilled glass cutter. His hobbies included but were not limited to being an avid fisherman, pitmaster on the grill, and the food trailer engineer as he worked alongside his dad with the family business. Author was loved by many. You may have known him by “Lil Art, ArtDogg, Art Dawg, Glendale, or ArtDogg214.” He had a humble spirit that will forever be cherished and shine in the hearts of all who knew him. Author became a proud father in February of 2003 to Kanazsha King, and later an enthusiastic grandfather to Ki’eric (Bubba) King in August of 2023. Another milestone was met on April 20, 2020 as he united in holy matrimony to Quranica Courtney, the LOVE of his life. Author was preceded in death by his grandfathers Eddie Cooper and Roman Jordan; grandmothers Sara Cooper and Josie Mae Jordan; brother Prentice Jordan; aunt Janett Jordan; uncles Lloyd and Marvin Jordan.

He is survived by his wife Quranica Courtney-Jordan; daughter Kanazsha King; mother Barbara Jordan; father Author Jordan Sr (Paula); grandson Ki’eric (Bubba) King; brothers Frederick Aimes and DeJuan Session; sisters Gerry’lynn Outerbridge , Aisha Jordan, and Bria Jordan; bonus children GaQuan Courtney, Zaire Pepper, and Cameron Courtney; bonus grandchildren Ganaya Courtney and Ga’Layiah Courtney; mother-in-love Valerie Courtney; father-in love Lester Courtney; brothers-in-love Tobias Courtney and Carlos Courtney; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
