T HE L IFE AND L EGACY OF Baby Marie Malone Jackson
B ABY M ARIE M ALONE J ACKSON was born on May 26, 1931. She was the seventh child of thirteen children born to Charleston and Margie Malone in Tennessee Colony, Texas. On Friday, April 1, 2022, she passed away at her home in Fort Worth, TX to her heavenly home.
She attended Bethel Elementary School and graduated from Massey Lake High School.
Baby Marie accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at Bethel Baptist Church in Tennessee Colony, Texas. After graduation from high school, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas. The love of her life, James Carroll Jackson took her hand in marriage on June 24, 1950 and to this union, God blessed them with four children, Hazel, James Jr., Vickie, and Steven. Baby Marie enjoyed talking to her sisters every day, watching daytime soap operas and cooking. She also enjoyed going to church at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of W.T. Glynn. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Hazel Jackson Ingram (Cleophas Sr.) of Duncanville, TX, Vickie Ragsdale (Robbie) of Fort Worth, TX., sons, James C. Jackson, Jr. (Barbara) of Fort Worth, TX, and Steven Jackson of Silver Spring, MD; six grandchildren, Quincy Jackson, D’Carsha Jackson, James Jackson Jr. IV, Cleophas Ingram, Jr., Cedric Ingram (Regina), Barisha Jackson; godsons, Sajade Miller and Semaj Miller; eighteen great grandchildren, Tony Willrich, Devonte Scott, Davion Jackson, Carlisia Allen, Lacosha Jackson, Zoe Jackson, Jamie Jackson, Skyler Jackson, Queisha Jackson, Quintara Jackson, Richard Jackson, Wonya Jackson, Trent Ingram, Sydnee Ingram, Daniel Ingram, Cameron Ingram, Jackson Ingram, Leila Ingram; one great-great grandchild, Jayden Willrich; as well as one sister, Malover Jean Malone and brother-in-law, Clarence D. Jackson, both of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll Jackson.
