CAROLYN ANN CARSON was born on June 13, 1953 to Betty Jean Grissom and Lee Alvin Grissom in Magnolia, Arkansas. She attended Magnolia High School and graduated in 1972. Carolyn gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church. She moved to Dallas, TX., in 1972 where she met and married Edward Earl Carson. To this union one son was born, Cameron Hujuan Carson. Carolyn retired from Headstart of Greater Dallas after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed teaching her young students and preparing them for the future. She is preceded in death by father, Lee Alvin Grissom (Shorty Hi - Pocket), Edward Earl Carson, and dearest cousin, Christeen Johnson (Chris), and Aunt Bobbie Jean Oliver. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted son, Cameron Hujuan Carson (Zephyr Carson), her mother, Betty Jean Grissom, her twin sister, Carolyn Lynn Grissom, brother, Herman Lee Grissom, twin grandsons; Carius Hujuan Carson, and Tyrius Hujuan Carson, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers, that we saw sitting there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much for whatever part.
