C HARLENE P ARKS K ING was born on July 20, 1951 to the parentage of the late Lacy Parks and Willie Parks Davis. She graduated from Dogan High School in Fairfield, TX. Charlene professed her faith in Christ at an early age. She was under the leadership of Pastor Mary VanZandt at Tabernacle of Deliverance. Charlene met and married Richard King. They were married for 35 years. Charlene departed this life on March 30, 2022. She was preceded in death by two daughters, LaTosha Renee Parks and Alfredia Parks-Germany. Charlene leaves to cherish her precious memories: a loving husband of 35 years, Richard King; two stepchildren, Cynthia and Jason of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Lavante, Lil Mitch, Martavion, Namyri, Kamyri, Zamiria, LeKesha, Cedrick, Alesia; great grandchildren, Jimmya and Jimmryn; four brothers, Minister Donald (Janet) Parks of Teague, TX, Elmer D. (Linda) Davis of Temple, TX, Joe Davis of Fairfield, TX, Micheal (Tina) Davis of Grosbeck, TX; one sister, Nellie Parks of Dallas, TX; sister-in- law, Gloria King; four nephews; three nieces; a host of relative and friends.
