A star too bright, you lit the sky, Then slipped away, we wonder why. Your laughter, warmth, the love you knew, Now memories, we hold them true. We see your smile in every dawn, A whispered hint that's never gone. Though you've moved on to realms anew, Our love remains forever true. In dreams we meet, our spirits fly, A secret space, where we say hi. You were a gift, in life so brief, Yet in our hearts, you're beyond grief. -Aunt Erika

T HE O NE I P RAYED F OR We met in passing unexpectedly, but things that are meant to be will be. It’s funny how God works unknowingly your friends became my friends and through them we connected. As time went by you started to see me differently, what you saw me only you and God could see the love that blossomed openly. Now here we are making plans and starting our lives together, traveling all around from town to town learning from one another , God forbid you left me alone in this world has taken you from me. Life Reflections Choyce Isiah Redmon, born on July 3, 1998, left this world on March 5, 2024. He was a devoted son, brother, nephew, and uncle, bringing love and joy to the lives of those around him. Choyce's mission in life was clear – to provide unwavering support and care for his loved ones, a mission he fulfilled wholeheartedly during his time on earth. A unique individual, Choyce was an exceptional athlete, a dedicated worker, an overachiever, and a goal-oriented individual. His remarkable qualities set him apart, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate to know him. Choyce is survived by his loving mother, Nan Ward and his siblings: Hydea, Hope, Jalique, Jerson, and Naneshea. His memory will be cherished by his nephews Aiden, Devante, Osiah, and niece Amirie. In addition to his family, Choyce leaves behind his girlfriend, Myriah Netter, who shared in the depth’s of his life. Choyce's legacy is one of a life well spent, filled with love, determination, and meaningful connections. As we bid farewell, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and the positive impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to be touched by his presence.
story's song, My little big brother, never too long. As a big sis, I hold close and tight, His laughter's echoes, now softer light. He was our rock, in a simple way, Always smiling, brightening our day. Annoying, yeah, but the good kind, Random calls at 2 am, that unique bind. Life's jokes and plays, a daily show, His spirit's glow, a comforting flow. Missed are those times, simple and free, His lively presence, forever in me. Each day, he stood, took life head-on, For us, family, from dusk till dawn. Putting it on the line, no grand parade, Just love and sacrifice, in our everyday. My son and his uncle, partners in crime, Adventures cut short, in this brief time. Uncle's laughter echoes in our night, Their bond, beyond time, feels just right. A little big brother, in memories held, Simple, everyday tales, forever compelled. Gone from sight, but his love and cheer, In our hearts, always near, always clear.” -Your big little sister, Hope "Hey, I wanted to put this down on paper and tell you how much I adore you. You have protected me since I was born and never let anything or anyone hurt me. I learned what love was from watching you live; not everyone gets to see that through a person. When around you, it somehow gets easier to breathe, laughing seems a little more contagious, and the ability to soak up knowledge is effortless. I want to thank you for loving me unconditionally. I love you. You are my forever sunshine! I miss you.” - Hydea Broken Chain “We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you' home. You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide: and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.“ Naneshea
May Choyce rest in eternal peace.
“Though I prayed for more, I am thankful for all the years spent with you. I may not have agreed with the ‘how’ but I've always understood the ‘why’. You chose the path walked, though it was frightening and dark, because you hoped for a better life not only for yourself but also for all of those you loved. This hope fueled your way.
Roman’s 12:19 Dearly Beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. “ Brotherly Love -Jalique “Choyce... Your fearlessness, your heart, and your spirit have always been an inspiration to me. From the moment we met, our bond as brothers was strong and rare. There was never a time when we just flat out disagreed. I cherish the memories of our trips, our time living together, working together, and sharing meals. More importantly, I am grateful that you trusted me with your thoughts and sought my advice when you needed it. Though you may not have always followed it, you always considered it, and for that, I am thankful. You always told me how much you respected me as the man I am for your sister, and how “I'm the only one you ever liked” and that held weight . You were a resilient individual, and your strength in facing challenges was out of this world. Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but your memory will always be cherished in our hearts. Rest in peace, my brother. “ -Devin
I’ll hold tightly to that understanding and carry it with me throughout my life, through the stories I tell you. I am so thankful to have known you, so proud to have called you my boy. I love you. “ -Dad
“My son, though gone too soon. Your brief life reshaped eternity. Through your death, I learned to live, In your loss, I found meaning. I held you for but a fleeting moment Yet your imprint on my heart remains - As my fingers traced your tiny fingers, Your soul touched my soul. My eternal son, you remain forever. In memories, I cherish prayers,
Watching you grow from infant to man In moments replayed over and over.
Now when I close my eyes I see you, smiling back at me - Telling me without words What truly lasts beyond death: The love we leave behind In the hearts we touch, The lessons we teach By how we live and die. My son, though here briefly You shaped eternity
"Put aside all bitterness, losing your temper, anger, shouting, and slander, along with every other evil. Be kind, compassionate, and forgiving to each other, in the same way God forgave you in Christ." EPHESIANS 4:31-32 — Jerson
And taught me the only truth that matters: To love with abandon, Without counting the cost. My precious boy, now your eternal song Continues playing within my heart, Guiding me home.” -MOM
