Clifford Maurice Hill was born on March 29, 1964 on Easter Sunday to Thomas Jefferson Hill and Hedy Mae Hill in Lynwood, California. He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at a young age. He was filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the name of Jesus. He was a graduate of Centennial High School in Compton, California. He was a minister of music and loved to sing songs of worship unto the Lord. He moved to Marlin, TX in the early 1990's where he met and married the love of his life, Evangelist Vastine Hill. Bro. Clifford had a passion to see souls saved and initiated a ministry in West Dallas, which later became the Church of God the Bibleway of Texas. He followed the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation at Apostolic Tabernacle of Fort Worth under the leadership of the late Bishop Jerome Collier. Bro. Hill loved sports and was an expert landscaper. He was known as the "Neighborhood Yard Man."

Bro. Clifford is preceded in death by: his parents, Elder Thomas Hill and Hedy Hill; brother Richard Hill, and his sister Faye Denise Hill Knight

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 31 years, Evangelist Vastine Hill; his children, Devin Peel and Ricca Randolph; grandchildren: Anastasia Reed, Jessie Lee Randolph Jr., Jacob Randolph, and Jade Randolph; his sister Rita Hill Wilbert of Carson, California, one brother Thomas Jefferson Jr. of Marlin, TX; a stepmother, Evangelist Doris Ann Hill and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
