Mr. Clifton “ Shank ” Washington, Sr., was born July 2, 1957, to Mr. and Mrs. Henry O ’ Neal Washington, Sr. of Marianna, Arkansas. Shank was a gentle giant that had never met a stranger. His winning smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten. You mention fishing, and he had his pole ready. You presented a problem to him, and he came up with a solution. Shank had many gifts and talents. His family and friends knew him as a: • Skilled carpenter • Jack of all trades • Blues lover • Elaborate Imagination/Storyteller • Problem Solver and creative thinker and Loved and admired by all children Shank was among his family when he departed from Earth on June 3, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. to reunite with Jesus and begin his eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Carrie Washington, and his brother, J.C Washington. Shank leaves to cherish and continue his memory to his wife, Beth Washington, daughter, Stephanie (Floyd) Truehill of DeSoto, Texas, sons Clifton Jr. (Nikesha) Washington of Arlington, Texas and Brandon (Khia) Washington of Fort Worth, Texas and 6 grandchildren, Austin, Carter, Floyd III., Kailyn, Jamiyah and Dreylan. Shank leaves his brothers and sisters, Henry Washington, Jr, Robert Washington Sr., Booker T. (Veronica) Washington, David (Mari - Cruz) Washington, Jean Washington - Kelly, Mary Washington, Carrie Washington, and Ann Hinton - Hancock. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends he met along the way to continue his memory and legacy.
