L IFE R EFLECTIONS OF

Adrian Douglas Autry was born April 5, 1965 to the union of the late Robert Pruitt and Margaret Pruitt. Adrian was a very devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and cherished friend who left a lasting impact on the lives of all he touched. Elder Autry received his formal education from Carter High School. Elder Autry also attended Barber College where he received his license for barbering. Later in life, he pivoted in his career to become an insurance agent, employed by Columbia Life where he remained until death. He began his journey in Christ on April 7, 1985, at Full Gospel Holy Temple

Church on Ewing Avenue, under the leadership of the late, great Apostle Lobias Murray and Dr. Shirley Murray. He remained faithful to the leadership of Apostle Herman L. Murray, Jr. and Lady Daniele Murray, where he continued to support the ministry as a faithful evangelist and pastoral assistant of the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church of Garland. Elder Autry met the love of his life, his wife, Lakeedra Cheryon Autry, and joined in holy matrimony on June 28, 1996. The Lord blessed this union with one son, Adrian Jamaria Autry, better known as AJ. Elder Autry was preceded in death by his father (Robert Pruitt), aunt (Ouida Woods) and brothers (Marlow and Ralph Fowler). He lives to cherish his wife of 27 years (Lakeedra Autry), son (AJ Autry), mother (Margaret Pruitt), brothers (Reginald Autry and Victor Fowler), sisters (Yutease Warren and Michelle Fowler), mother-in-law (Linda West), brother-in-law (Jeron West) and a host of nieces and nephews. Upon giving his life to Christ, Elder Autry dedicated days and nights serving in ministry, being a faithful husband to one wife, a proud father and an amazing friend and counselor to many. The ripples of his love, compassion and care will flow for years and years to come. He will be remembered as a walking Bible who could explain baptism with power, anointing and understanding.

Though our hearts are saddened with the loss of one of God's greatest soldiers, we rejoice in knowing that Elder Autry is shouting around the Heaven he so passionately preached about. "For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord" (Acts 11:24).
