“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7
When I must leave you for a little while Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years.
But start out bravely with a gallant smile
And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days But fill each waking hour in useful ways
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near
And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky!

Mom, you faced every challenge with grace. Your strength, confidence and resilience inspire me. Your love & warmth will forever bind us. Although it was time for you to go, I will always see you in your grandchildren, I will see your smile in your granddaughter Kwynne, your mannerism in your granddaughter Jeanah, and your sense of humor with your grandson, Kodie. There are no goodbyes for us. I love you, Mom. You will always be in my heart. – Marcy
My dear Mama, the pain of your absence is beyond words. Your love was constant and shaped my life and will continue to guide me. I will carry your laughter in my heart as a reminder of the brightness I will need to get through life without you. – Love you always, LaQuinta
To my Granny Pooh, I will miss you dearly. You may be gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart. – Love Kwynnie-Pooh
I carry you in my name, but also in the way I laugh, in the way I care, and in the way I try to be gentle with the world. – Jeanah
To Granny from KoKo, I’ll forever love you how you loved me, unconditionally. I’ll remember all our moments together for you. - Kodie

That assurance is affirmed by the many warm and sincere expressions of comfort and sympathy each of you have shown. We extend gratitude for all acts of kindness and concern during this season. Your personal visits, telephone calls, delicious food, cards, beautiful floral arrangements and especially your fervent prayers, are deeply appreciated. May the rich and abundant blessings of the Lord be upon each of you. The love you’ve shown to us will never be forgotten .
SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT We would like to thank two caregivers Ciara Burton and NaTonnya Phillips for their unwavering love and commitment to the care of our mom. Words cannot express our gratitude for these young ladies.
