Ferman Lee Bell, born to John and Vennie Bell, grew up in Terrell, Texas with his six siblings. He attended public school in the Terrell Independent School District, and he would later go on to join the United States Army. He proudly served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 which included an overseas tour in Vietnam. After leaving active duty he enrolled in Mountain View College where he received his Associate Degree in Arts and Sciences. Shortly after, he began a promising career at Texas Instrument as a machine operator. He would continue to work for Texas Instrument/ Raytheon for a combined 33 years. In that 33 year span, he also worked for Reunion Arena for 9 years and for his beloved Dallas Cowboys for 15 years. He loved to spend time with loved ones and entertain friends. Through their shared passion, he met the future love of his life, Margaret Ann Perry. They married in 1971 and The Bell ’ s would go on to share over 50 glorious years with one another. Together they raised, guided, and became the glue that bonded four generations into one loving family.
