Gloria Benita “Bug” Henderson, 68, of Duncanville, Texas, passed away on September 2, 2022, unexpectedly in her sleep. Gloria was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on February 2, 1954. She graduated from L. G. Pinkston High School in 1972 and continued on to take classes for business at Assessment Technologies Institute. Gloria worked as a Customer Service Representative for Dallas Area Rapid Transit for 20+ years as well as worked as a Detention Service Officer for the Dallas Sheriff’s Department for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and watching any cop shows such as “Chicago PD”, “First 48” and” The Heat of the Night”. She also served as a volunteer for the Nonprofit organization “Faith Walkers” by feeding the homeless. Gloria is survived by Taurayon Henderson (son), Za’Nieya Hashaway (granddaughter), Sharon Hubbard (sister), Rodney Henderson (brother), Ira Henderson (brother), Kelvin Henderson Sr. (brother), Derric Henderson (brother), Kay’awon Falls (brother) and other family and friends.
Gloria is preceded in death by Glorieanna Falls.
