Obituary Hattie Faye Scott Wheaton Barron was the first child born to the parentage of the late Ren Scott and Jessie Lee Sious - Scott on August 28, 1947, in DeRidder, Louisiana. She confessed to Christ and was baptized at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in DeRidder, Louisiana. She was an All-Star Athlete (Basketball and Track) and also played the flute in the band at George Washinton Carver High School in DeRidder, Louisiana. After graduating from George Washington Carver High, she became employed as a nurse at Fort Polk Army Hospital. In 1969, she moved to Dallas, Texas, and was employed as a Nurse by Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas for 15 years. She attended El Centro College in Dallas, Texas. Upon leaving Baylor Medical Center, she was employed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield as a Claim Auditor and retired after 30 years of service. In 1969, she married Arris DonWheaton, and to this union, one child was born (LaTishia Renee’ Wheaton). In 1980, she married John Franklin Barron (Deceased), and no children were born into this union. She was a faithful member of Tabernacle of Praise with Reverand Anthony Sharp in Dallas, Texas. After the death of her husband, John Franklin Barron, she moved to Leander, Texas, in 2014 and joined Central Union Church of Christ with Pastor Keir S. Brady. In 2019, she was a member of Sweet Home - The Pinnacle of Praise with Pastor Dr. Dante D. Wright I. In 2020, she faithfully worshiped online with St. Mark Baptist Church with Pastor Damion D. Wheaton until Father God called her home. She was a faithful and devoted parishioner bible study student at all these churches. On Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 10:09 a.m., a sweet Angel came down and lifted our Queen Hattie Faye Scott Wheaton Barron's spirit from earth. She was a Matriarch, loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, auntie, grandmother, great-grandmother and a very strong mentor in the lives of her family members and friends. She leaves to cherish her life her children Donna Ross (Michael), Arthur L. Williams (Kimberly), and Marshanda J. Justice (Tony), all of Dallas, Texas, and LaTishia R. Wheaton of Leander, Texas. Her sisters, Alecia Scott, and Cheryl Scott, brothers Freddie E. Scott all from Dallas, Texas and Donald Crawford of California and Grandchildren Candra Fleming and Casey Fleming, grandson Brent Zakie Pradia, and one great-grandson Crimson Fleming. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, her bestfriend Cheryl Scott-Sherman and a host of friends.
