Haymond was always present at church functions and knew all of the ins and outs of the building. Haymond worked for Northern Illinois Water Co. for 37 years and retired in 2004. He was known as “The Waterman”. He was a jack of all trades and was very passionate about what he believed. He was very caring, giving and had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed shooting pool. He married Kathleen Sorrell and had two children from this union. He is survived by one daughter, Tasha (Shawn) Summerville of Louisville, KY; one son, Keenan (Pamela) Anderson of Champaign, IL and two grandchildren, Detrick Anderson and Baili Summerville. He later married Vicki Leonard and is survived by his stepson, Michael Leonard. He also leaves 7 sisters: Almeda Davis, Juanita Nicholson, Alberta Anderson, Lynda Anderson, Brenda (Michael) McMullen, Marie Anderson and Bobby (Robert) Miller; 6 brothers: LeRoy (Dollie) Anderson, Willie Anderson, Michael (Phyllis) Anderson, Darell (Wanda) Anderson, Larry Anderson and Terry Taylor; and brother-in-law James Robertson. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including lifelong friend, Carlene Dawson, and her children, Elonda, Carroll and Tracey, as well as his bonus son Kenneth Napper. He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings Olevia, Thomas, Charles, Emma, Allen and Lawrence, and his aunt B (Olevia) Walls. “ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness …” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

To My Dad, If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Only then would you realize how special you are to me. Thank you for believing in me more than I believe in myself. Thank you for your constant support, endless love, and for being my everlasting friend. I will always be your little girl and you will always be my greatest hero. Love, The one who needs you till the end, your daughter, Tasha Taniece Summerville Daddy, Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only I could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do. You always meant so very much and always will. The fact that you’re no longer here will always bring me pain. You’re forever in my heart until we meet again. Keenan Detrick Anderson
My grandfather will forever live within me. He is my grandpa, my friend, confidant, mentor, and my hero. I could call him about anything I needed or just to talk to him for hours about everything. This man was a blessing in our lives from God. I feel truly blessed to call him my Grandpa.
I love you and you’ll be with me forever, Paw Paw. Your only grandson, Detrick Dontay Anderson
Papa, You were the best! We had so much fun together. I will miss you so much and love you forever! - Baili Synclare Summerville
Weep not for me though I am gone Into that gentle night Grieve if you will, but not for long Upon my soul’s sweet flight I am at peace, my soul’s at rest There is no need for tears. For with your love I was so blessed For all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, The fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts In your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath Remember not the strife Please do not dwell upon my death, But celebrate my life

A CKNOWLEDGEMENT We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Brenda McMullen, Elonda Towns, and Kenneth Napper for your untiring sacrifices and dedication to provide meals and personal care during our father’s time of need. We also acknowledge with deep appreciation each prayer uttered on our behalf, every kind word or deed extended toward us, and all of the love each of you has showered on us during our time of bereavement. For all that was done, to console our hearts, we say “Thank You”. The Anderson Family
