Howard Davenport Jr. was born to the union of Laverne Williams Davenport and Howard Davenport Sr. on July 20, 1966. He graduated from Madison High School in the part of town he loved the (Sunny South Side) South Dallas. Jr. had many trades but the one he loved the most was the rental business. He started out at Aaron’s Rental then Rent-A-Center and finally Choice Rental (where he became a manager) in Tyler, TX. While in Tyler, he met, fell in love and married the love of his life Kimesha Elliott. She is left to mourn his death along with his beloved son, Taveyin Davenport; brother and best friend, “Big O” Otha Davenport (Iris); his sweet and kind aunt whom he grew up with Loretta (LoLo) Stegall; the sisters he loved so much, Debra Davenport, Brenda Griffin and Felicia Brown; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his little newborn daughter, Shelby Bren Davenport; father, Howard Davenport Sr.; mother, Laverne Williams Davenport.
