Karen Bush_smbk blue FINAL

Our dearest Karen A. Bush sadly passed away peacefully, on October 30, 2022, at the age of 66, surrounded with love from her children and family. Born in Manhattan, NY on February 16, 1956 to W. B. Williams and Evelyn Scott. The oldest girl of 6, Karen adapted to a loving and motherly nature that just blossomed and touched everyone she encountered. On June 1, 1973, she married her high school sweetheart, Davey T. Bush Sr., who preceded her in death May 12, 2004. Karen and Davey started a beautiful journey together which eventually led them to their long time home of Dallas, Tx where they raised their 8 children together. Karen was a loving and devoted wife and mother and she worked a long and rewarding Career in Banking and Customer Service for Bank of America and Sprint Communications. She lived life to the fullest and was a “big sis” to everyone as she shared her wisdom and big heart with All and used her uncanny ability to connect with people in a deep and positive way; To know her was to love her! Such a meek and poised woman that will forever be known for being so kind, welcoming and bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Preceding her in death is her mother and father Billy and Evelyn, her husband Davey, and her brothers Willie, Dougie, Eddie and Gregory. Karen is survived by her children; Felicia Edwards, Davey Bush Jr., Danielle Perkins, Melissa Bush - Daniels, Nathan Bush, Neil Bush, Marcus Bush, and Amber Bush. Her sister, Vanessa Williams - Harris of Newburgh, N.Y., her 13 grandchildren Quashala, Daniel Jr., Ashton, Kevin, Kamali, TJ, Richaad, Khaliah, Khloe, Richaun, Tihanna, Blake, Casen and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Don’t think of her as gone away, Her journey’s is just begun, Life holds so many facets This earth is only one. Just think of her as resting From the sorrow and tears In a place of warmth and comfort, Where there are no days and years. Think jhow she must be wishing That we could know today How nothing but our sadness Can really pass away. And think of her as living In the hearts of those she touched, For nothing loved is ever lost, And she was loved so much . Love Always, From All Your Children You can only have one mother Patient kind and true; No other friend in all the world, Will be the same to you. When all my friends forsake me, To mother I always returned, For all her loving kindness, She asks nothing in return. As I look upon her picture, Sweet memories I recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all. Sweet Jesus, take this message, To my dear mother up above; Tell her how I will miss her, And give her all my love.

Love Felicia, Your Eldest Child AKA your Pocahontas
