LifeÊReflectisÊ Kerry Johnson Sr., a man of deep faith, a dedicated family man, and a respected Dallas police officer, went home to see the Lord on October 27th, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on November 15th, 1962, in Dallas, TX, Kerry accepted Christ at an early age. He was a devoted member of The Jubilee Church since 2011, where he faithfully served in both the music department and on the security team, sharing his talents and his steadfast spirit with his church family. A proud 1981 graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Kerry dedicated his life to serving his community with integrity and quiet strength. He spent 26 years on the Dallas Police Department, retiring in 2017. In his well-deserved free time, Kerry was a man of many talents, finding joy in playing his guitar and the thrill of the open road in his beloved Corvette. Above all, he was a dedicated and loving father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family, a legacy that will be cherished forever.
Kerry was preceded in death by his very special aunt, Olivia "Aunt Duckie" Ferrell.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Linda Williams; his brother, Garry Johnson (Demetha Johnson); his sister, Yolanda Williams; his children, Kerry Johnson Jr. (Amber Johnson) and Keturah Johnson (Louvanstie Mouton). He was a proud grandfather to Maverick Johnson, Kenzlee Johnson, and Loyalty Mouton. He also leaves behind his nephew, Garry Johnson II; his niece, Kennedi Johnson; and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
