L AKEISHA S HANTA S IMPSON , a beacon of love, care, and generosity, left this world on April 29, 2024. Born on February 9, 1981 to the parents of Marie V. Simpson and James C. Marshall, Lakeisha's journey was one marked by compassion and selflessness. Her life was a tapestry woven with threads of kindness and warmth. Lakeisha's loving nature touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her caring soul radiated a comforting presence that could light up even the darkest of days. Whether it was through a soothing smile or a gentle hug, she had a way of making people feel seen and valued. A passionate giver, Lakeisha dedicated herself to making the world a brighter place for those around her. Her acts of generosity knew no bounds, whether it was offering a helping hand to a friend in need or supporting causes close to her heart. Her legacy of benevolence will continue to inspire others to spread kindness in their own lives. Besides her inclination towards spreading love and joy, Lakeisha found solace in simple pleasures. Shopping was not just an activity for her; it was an adventure that brought her immense delight. The thrill of finding the perfect gift for a loved one was matched only by the joy of giving it. Swimming was another passion that allowed Lakeisha to connect with nature and find peace in the tranquility of water. Being outside, surrounded by the beauty of the world, brought her a sense of serenity that nurtured her spirit. In this time of profound loss, Lakeisha is survived by her children, Gary Barron, Garyon Barron and Gabriell Barron; siblings, Latisha, Robert, LaCresha, Jeremiah; Carol, Jerry, Shirley and Mary; Debra Griffin, Tony Simpson, Dorothy Simpson, Nakeisha, Nacole and Corey; a host other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Though she may have departed this world, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched with her love and generosity.
