Mr. Lenard Ray Bailey, born March 15, 1936 in Tohaka, TX, to the late Bunard and Mary Bailey. He attended Tohoka Independent School District. Lenard served in the United States Navy until 1959. Shortly after he moved to Fort Worth TX, he got a job working with cars which was one of his passions at General Motors. Where he retired from after 45 years. He was also apart of Union called United Auto Workers. He later retired from General Motors were he worked for forty five years. “Ray” is what he was known by. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and barbequing for the family. He was also known for his coveralls and baseball caps. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Lorna Bailey and ten other brothers and sisters. He is survived by three children, Anthony Russell, Aldrich Bailey, Sr. (Janniffer) and Carsha Bailey (Cedric); brother, Bezel Bailey; six grandchildren; four great - grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves to mourn special friend, Thelma Hewitt.
