Bro. Leonard Lamont Stewart was born on October 8, 1961. He was the youngest son of Mr. John F. Faulk & Mrs. Bernice V. Faulk. He was born in Albuquerque, NM., and later moved to Colorado Springs, CO., with his parents. They later moved to Ft. Worth, TX., where he attended and graduated from Everman High School in Fort Worth, TX., in 1979. He attended the University Phoenix and received his Masters and Bachelors Degree in Business in Fort Worth, TX. Bro. Leonard Stewart was a member of Mount Zion COGIC in Dallas, TX., under the leadership of Supt. Joe Turner, Sr., and Missionary Ella Ruth Turner. He supported the church and attended church functions before God called him home. Bro. Stewart was employed at Rebar Waste Management and was a manager of employees for ten years. Bro. Stewart was self - employed for a number of years. He worked at the Fort Worth Bingo Hall as a caller of numbers. He also worked at Home Depot and General Motors from 2013 to 2017. He loved sports, recreation and traveling. He was loved by his family and many on his job as well as others in the church community.

Bro. Leonard was preceded in death by his father and mother; Mr. John F. Faulk and Mrs. Bernice V. Faulk.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two brothers; Tyrone Alfonso Stewart and Leroy Wesley Stewart, a very special friend, Helen J. Foreman, cousin, Curry Hawkins (Linda), friends; Larry and Gary, traveling friend, Kordae Franklin and a host of nieces and nephews.
