Malinda Price Program

M ALINDA B. P RICE was born in November 23, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Virginia and Rosevelt Griffin. She graduated from Itasca High School on May 30, 1986. She went on to pursue higher education and graduated from Mountain View Community College with her Associates of Arts in Business Administration. She was known to be a God-fearing, loving, strong and caring woman. During her time here on Earth, she worked as the Registration Administration Supervisor of the Emergency Department at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. Malinda was a faithful and devoted member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. She served the Lord as a member of the Woman’s Ministry known as the “Girlfriend Ministry” and an adamant participant in praise dance and youth ministries during her Christian experience. Malinda was a loving and cherished daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and wife. She was preceded in death by both parents Rosevelt and Virginia Griffin; her two brothers, Lance Edward and Robert Henry; her two daughters Dominique and Monique Price; and her grandparents Cleo Melissa Whitfield and John Henry Whitfield. During her time on earth she was a member of the United States Army Reserve. As a member, she met the love of her life, Rev. John Price. The two wed on July 22, 1994, in a Dallas, Texas Courthouse and held an official wedding reception on September 24, 1994. The two went on to experience over 30 years of love, laughter, and unceasing loyalty to one another. The two created a home to be enjoyed and cherished by their children and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters Nakia Price Townsend, Unique Price, and Victoria Price; son Antoine Price; siblings Eugenia Marshon Harkey, Michael Griffin, and Randy Griffin; and through love and life ten grandchildren, Antoine Price Jr., Ason Price, Laylah Price, Brock Price, Josiah Combs, Collin Bennett, Joshua Price, Jai’Ari Smith, Johnathan Price, and Avery Johnson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Malinda Price took her peaceful departure on Saturday, November 19, 2022, to return to her Lord and Savior and to reunite with the loved ones that had transitioned on before her. The multitude of memories that contribute to her legacy of being a loving, caring, and selfless woman will forever be engraved in the hearts and minds of those touched by her smile and presence .
