On December 9, 1957 in Torrance, California, Mattie Amanda Lee Donnell Bell and Chester Arthur Bell became the proud parents of baby girl whom they named Marilyn Jean Bell. Marilyn accepted Christ in her life at an early age where she attended New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church. She received her education in the Palestine Public School District, she went on to attend Jarvis Christian College, Hawkins, Texas. Marilyn made Dallas, Texas her home, until she gained her wings November 3, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parenMtsattie Amanda Lee Donnell Bell and Chester Arthur Bell Sr. Brothers James Arthur Bell, Chester Arthur Bell Jr. Sister Mary Louise Howard. Those left to cherish Marilyn's memories are: Daughters Cynthia Mattie Amanda Lee Bell-Shead(Tyler, TX), Roshunda Yevette Bell (Dallas, Texas) Jacqueline Jeannette Bell Tyler, Texas; Sons, Kevin DeWayne Bell (Ft. Worth, Texas), Massey James(Tennessee Colony, Texas); Grandchildren, Tavis D. D. Shead (Ft. Worth, Texas), Tiera N. Shead (St. Louis, Missouri), Duante' M. Shead (Menlo Park, California), Amani L. Shead (Ft. Worth, Texas), Antonio C. Bell (Dallas, Texas), D'Anthony Young (Dallas, Texas), Essence Watkins (Nacogdoches, Texas); 5 Great -grandchildren; Siblings Linda (James) Kennedy (Tyler, Texas), Carolyn (Johnny) Anthony (Palestine, Texas) Karlina (Dale) Allen Tyler, Texas.

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who will forever treasure her memory.

Marilyn was a loving Mom, Grandmother, who touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Her kind, giving heart made her genuinely special to all who knew her.
