L IFE R EFLECTIONS OF

M ARY F RANCES H OWARD was born on November 24, 1949, in Tucson, Arizona to Carrie Mae Williams-Louis. She received her education from Phoenix Independent School District. She married Andras Howard in 1975 in Kansas City. From that marriage they have one son, Joshua Howard, and their pride and joy grandson, Micah Howard. As well as two stepsons, Lee Cook, and Andre Howard. Mary spent a significant amount of her life in Dallas, Texas. “Raised and identified as a Christian Baptist. Mary took on the rigorous career of a traditional homemaker. She took pride in keeping a clean home and wonderfully prepared Sunday meals for her family and friends. Every Holiday was made brighter by the smell of her cooking. She took a joy in the seasonal decorations and the holiday music. She wasn’t just a mother to Joshua, Lee, and Andre. She was a mother to her community.” “ Mary raised many children who were not her own, yet cared for many babies and kids all the same. She loved and raised them equally without hesitation or division. She made sure every mouth was fed, every heart was loved, and every mind was disciplined by faith. That is the love that Mary embodied through her walk as a Christian. It is that love that she instilled in those closest to her. Mary Howard will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to experience her love. ” -J OSHUA H OWARD Left to cherish her memories: sisters, Dorothy Bair and Carrie Lewis; brothers, Melvin Louis, Adolfus Louis, Leandre Louis; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins; and two aunts, Vergie Robertson and Gloria Simms. “ Thank you for being a Light in my Life Mary. Thank you for loving me in all my flaws. Thank you for helping raise the wonderful family that we know and love today .” -A NDRAS H OWARD Mary is preceded in passing by her mother, Carrie Mae Williams Louis and brother, Charles B. Louis.

I H AVE M Y R EWARD To all my loved ones My family, my friends, The road I have traveled Has come to a end. I started on

This journey one day; The Lord was with me Every step of the way. Some days I'd get tired And so very weak

But I thank the Lord For taking care of me. I fought a good fight I kept the faith I am ready to enter The pearly white gates. As I came To the end of the road. God placed on my shoulders A beautiful white robe. I began to smile And look all around He placed on my head A golden crown.

To all my loved ones everything is all right; My name is written In The Lamb's Book of Life.

It is with sincere appreciation and heart felt gratitude that we express our thanks to the many families, friends and neighbors, for the many acts of kindness, expressions of love, and sympathy shown. May God bless and keep each of you.
