Micial Blankmon Program

Obituary Micial Blackmon was born on October 25, 1958 in Dallas, TX., to the parentage of Henry and Mary Blackmon. He was the apple of his parent’s eye. Micial accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age. Micial worked as a youth usher and sang in the choir. As an adult, he continued rendering himself a vessel unto God in serving with the Brotherhood and singing in the adult choir. One day, Micial yielded to the call from the Lord to preach the gospel. In 2010, he was ordained by Pastor Rob Robinson, at New Beginnings Baptist Church. Micial was a longtime member of Salem Institutional Baptist Church. Micial attended H. Grady Spruce High School and graduated in 1977. Micial worked faithfully at American Airlines at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport for 39 years. He was respected, popular and well liked among his co workers. On Thursday November 3, 2022, Micial answered his final call going from labor to reward. Every day, this has been hard. Do you remember when we said that we were best friends, Daddy? You are my Hero, my knight in shining armor. Thank you for telling me each night that you loved me. I am your greatest fan and Daddy you are my very own Hero. You were the best Daddy to me! You brought me so much happiness! You had such a kind and loving heart. Whatever I wanted, you freely gave it to me. I’ve always wanted to make you proud. Thank you for sharing Jesus with me and showing me how a man should treat me. You have been a blessing to me, and you’ve brought me so much joy. God has been good to me, Daddy, because I had you. This isn’t goodbye, but just see you later. Since I took good care of you, just remember that I’ll need you to be that someone to watch over me. Your last button on Jacob’s coat. Love Forever, Chloe
