It was December the 3rd 1975 that I committed to spend forever with “Daddy” and I kept my word 46 years later. I realize that this wasn't expected, but God knew that me and Daddy wanted to spend our anniversary together so He made arrangements for us to do so. I can’t say don’t weep for me because I know you will. I’m fine because I’m with Daddy. My love for you will never die because I know it’s in your hearts. I want you both to remember everything Daddy and me taught you. Stay in the Word. Stay prayed up. Don’t lose focus, and walk a straight line with God. Momma loves you both. Don’t worry, I’m happy now. I’m here with God, and I’m here with Daddy. Now, Kenny, look out for Lamont and Lamont, you take care of Kenny, and remember, you’re “Lillie’s Boys”, (my sons). So take Jesus along with you everywhere you go.
Love Always, Momma
I really don't know where to begin or even what to say. I never would have thought that I'd be in this place again but God said otherwise. Momma I want you to know that I love you and will miss you so much. I won't lie this does hurt but I know I'll get through it. I promise to make you proud and take the lord along with me everywhere I go. Love Lamont This is a lot to process, but one thing you instilled in us is to trust God all the way. This is one of those “all the way” moments. Thank you for my spiritual foundation. I promise to continue to love God, trust God, and most of all, serve God. I love you, Kenny
“I Get it Now” Contentious? Yep, that’s how I would describe the beginning of our relationship. I’m pretty sure that’s because you wanted the best for your son and you didn't know me (you just knew of me). As time progressed, our relationship mellowed. However, it wasn't until October at The Candid Conversations that I found out how you truly felt. I was bothered then, but I get it now (God has a way of doing things). You not only wanted me to know, but for the public go know how you loved me and appreciated me for being who I was to you and your family. To hear you say all that you said will forever be etched in my mind. I want to also appreciate you for embracing my babies as your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You treated them as though they were your flesh and blood. Words cannot express how much I love you and what you meant to my family, Keshah, Twinky, Amber, Melody and Rickey. My Son our Musician, you always said “that Boy show can play”. You Walked so gracefully down the isle of Keshah's wedding, looking Sassy and beautiful. You prayed for us all. My heart is so heavy, but my Spirit rejoices because you lived Salvation. You walked in Holiness, you are still my example of a Virtuous Woman. We traveled together, prayed together danced together, gave together, went to Church together. Thank you for being a part of Determined Faith for sharing you with us. You are my Momma and I always have called you that and always will. You my Diamond, shall shine in our hearts for- ever. We share a Son, a true son. Thank you, it didn't take this to tell you, I did all the time. I love you Momma, forever just me Mama Tave as you called me and us. your other Family always have been always will be. My Tribute to A Diamond, Now, Lillie...who am I gonna provoke to praise!? Lady Tam, Your DIL (that’s what you called me) A Diamond's Tribute

To all my loved ones My family, my friends, The road I have traveled Has come to a end. I started on This journey one day; The Lord was with me Every step of the way. Some days I'd get tired And so very weak But I thank the Lord For taking care of me. I fought a good fight I kept the faith I am ready to enter The pearly white gates. As I came To the end of the road. God placed on my shoulders A beautiful white robe. I began to smile And look all around He placed on my head A golden crown. To all my loved ones everything is all right; My name is written In The Lamb's Book of Life.
