Flowers Sisters of the Church

If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.

was born April 25, 1940, to Woodrow and Addie Bell Gaut Anderson. She was the fifth of ten children. She was baptized at East Cotton Street Church of Christ at an early age. After moving to Fort Worth she eventually moved her membership to Metropolitan Church of Christ. She has been a dedicated member of Metropolitan Church of Christ since 1978. She was a member of the Acapella Chorus and she served in the kitchen during fellowship events. Nellie was a faithful follower of the word of God and she truly lived the life of a devout Christian. “ Gran Nellie ” as the older Grandchildren often affectionately called her, would help anyone at any time if it were within her ability to do so.
