Ola Ruth Daniels was born on October 11, 1941 in Marlin, Texas Falls County to Jesse and Anna Bell Armstead. She was the fifth child of six born to this union.

Ola Ruth attended the Dallas Independent School District. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High located in Dallas, Texas.

She accepted Christ early and united with Puget Street Christian Church in Dallas, Texas under Pastor Larry Stanley.

Ola Ruth met and married Guffery Winston Daniels to this union two children were born.

Ola Ruth hard work paid off when she earned her bachelor degree. Ola was a school teacher at Harrell Bud Elementary in Dallas, Texas. She devoted 25 years as an educator. In addition she was also a licensed beautician. Ola Ruth was a sport enthusiast. She loved her Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks.. She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, playing domino ’ s and working puzzle books.

In December, Ola joined The House of Refuge Pentecostal Church. She was looking forward to be an active member before her demise.

Ola Ruth memories will forever be in the hearts of: Desiray Thomas (great granddaughter) a special and dedicated niece, Shirley Ann Seamster, a special nephew, Dexter Pruitt, Latrina Riley (great niece), Kametha Thomas (great - niece) and a host of nieces and nephews.
