it’s your fat jaw grandson DJ. I’m going to miss everything about you, from your smile, your laugh, your love, and your jokes, but most of all your cooking, especially your smothered pork chops and sweet potatoes. I just want to say that I love you and I’m going to miss you always . ~
If I had 1,000 wishes I would grant them ALL to you. Not to restart your earthly days in which I would enjoy, but to pave your way to the pearly gates to be with Bettie and Roy. To once again share a place with Willard, your TRUE love and to rejoice with your five brothers, from the Heavens above. This marks a homecoming that is oh so sweet because you get to reunite with the DQ Dude and Mrs. T. My Love for you will ALWAYS remain STRONG, now my heart is at peace while your sister in - laws welcome you home
ALWAYS
Thank you for knowledge, courage, and the wisdom you gave me. Thanks you for guidance and correcting me when I was wrong and loving me through my mistakes. I love you and will miss you dearly! Thank you for my highlight books.
Although I was prepared, I’m still not ready. You were my baby, my mom, my heart, and I will always love you.
Your Oldest son Victor, but to you Mama …..
I’m glad that I got to see you and hear your voice one more time, and to see you light up and say HEY BOY!!! Grandma Chub, I remember going to RL Thornton and always getting free lunch because I was your grandson and you would scream at me every day because I never had my lunch card. Such a loving person with a big heart; you definitely left an impact on our family and friends and all of the people that you touched.
I love you Chub, may you rest in Heaven
There are no words to describe what you mean to me and this family. You
were the heart and soul of this family. You didn’t shy away or hesitate to the truth or speak your mind, but also showed so much love. You shared a special relationship with each one of us. You loved hard for anyone you loved. You I simply want to say thank you for everything you have done and everything that you will continue to do while watching over us. I love you my/our Chub ~
There are no words to explain what you meant to me. To know the definition of what a mother means, is the most wonderful feeling in the world. I will always remember our times together, whether it was laughing, watching the games or while growing up getting some serious butt whooping’s. You fought a good fight and kept the faith. Now
it’s time for you to get some well - deserved rest . I Love you always and will miss you dearly
……….
thank you for always loving me. Thank you for always thinking of me. Thank you for my highlight books.
I love you and will miss you for eternity.
~Love,
Leo Road Dawg!!! Heaven just gained a TRUE THUG for an Angel!! You fought tooth and nail to the bitter end like the soldier you are. I expected nothing less…I know Aunty and Grand Daddy are greeting you at the gates with open arms, grinning from ear to ear. There will NEVER be anything like those hour(s) long conversations on the phone with you and Aunty growing up. You’ll be forever missed and never be forgotten. You 3 keep looking over all of us down here.
Rest up Chub ~
It has been such a blessing to be your grandchild. I wouldn’t have even gotten my nick name if it wasn’t for you. You were my last living grandmother and I pray that I gained the wisdom and strength that you carried all throughout your life. Our love is forever. From your Granddaughter ,
There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe what you meant to me. From the moment we met, you welcomed me into the family with open arms. Thank you for loving me the way that you did and never shying away from tell me that you loved me. Even when it made the others mad….lol. You were one of a kind and it was an honor to call you my grandmother in love. I promise to take care of your baby (Yogi) if you promise to take care of mine (Mayson). Rest well My Chub, Love

When I heard the news, I didn’t know how to feel; I’m going to miss you. We shared great memories that will always stay with me.
Love you Chub
Still a little emotional till this day; you’ve been here my whole life, always caring for me and loving me. I know you would call me the “Lil” man, but imma make sure that this “Lil” man makes you proud up there.
Love you Chub ~ MJ
I saw strength, love, and most importantly faith in you. You fought until the very end. Our last conversation was you asking me to help you take off your mittens on your hands, but I couldn’t. I look at it now as you wanted them off because you were getting ready to put on robe and tell your story of how you made it over. I’m grateful and blessed to have had you 44 years of discipline, laughter, and unconditional love . I will miss you tremendously Lores!!! I love you –
Thank you Chub for always blessing me; I love you and will miss you so much .
Above all, I am thankful to have been able to experience your love and acceptance. I am grateful to have had you during the most critical times in my childhood and there in the background watching in my adulthood. You will forever be remembered in my heart by your bright smile and you welcoming arms. I celebrate your transition, knowing that you’ve received your “well done” in heaven. Love you for an eternity.
I Love you and I’m going to miss seeing you Chub……..Chub’s name is Oscar. My favorite saying, when asked.
To our Family and Friends: It means the world to have you here today. Thank you for all of the support and laughter that you have given us during this difficult time. We deeply appreciate the many expressions of love shown. May God Bless Each of You!
