I saw strength, love, and most importantly faith in you. You fought until the very end. Our last conversation was you asking me to help you take off your mittens on your hands, but I couldn’t. I look at it now as you wanted them off because you were getting ready to put on robe and tell your story of how you made it over. I’m grateful and blessed to have had you 44 years of discipline, laughter, and unconditional love . I will miss you tremendously Lores!!! I love you –

I am grateful to have had you during the most critical times in my childhood and there in the background watching in my adulthood. You will forever be remembered in my heart by your bright smile and you welcoming arms. I celebrate your transition, knowing that you’ve received your “well done” in heaven.
