Tribute to Our Father I don’t even know how to begin to say goodbye. My mind knows that you have departed this earthly plane, but my heart won’t let me accept it. I thank God for allowing me to have you as my father. You taught me to always believe in myself and to follow my dreams. You never allowed me to say, “I can’t” and would always correct me to say I could. You taught me the meaning of hard work and dedication. Most importantly, you taught me about unconditional love and the importance of family. It breaks my heart to be writing this to you, but I know that we will see each other again. I never thought that the last time I saw you would be my last time giving you a hug and kiss. You fought a good fight and kept a brave face for everyone, but God knew that you were tired and took you in His arms to allow you to rest. I will make sure to teach Danielle the valuable life lessons you taught us all. I will make sure she knows how much her grandfather loved her and I know you will constantly watch over her. Rest easy daddy until we meet again. I love you always. To the greatest dad and grand dad, you were the best dad I could’ve asked for you taught me kindness, love, patience, and self - worth. You taught me how to speak Up and never let my head fall. You gave the girls your love for music they are your “rough riders” you showered them in love and kindness and protection just as you did me. You were there for the falls, the scrapes and the bad dreams. You were there when we wanted to just lay under you and go to sleep. You always gave us your all and poured as much knowledge into us as you could. We may have lost a dad and granddad but heaven gained one of the greatest an gels ever. Thank you for everything you taught me and the unconditional love you gave me and my daughters. We love you so much may you rest easy and watch over us all. (your BU)
