Reginald Timms_smbk blue

On February 11,1953 in Houston, TX Essick and Dorothy Timms became the proud parents of a son named Reginald Timms. He was the third of nine children. He accepted Christ at an early age. He later moved to Hayward, California where he graduated from Hayward High School. After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps. He moved back to Texas after he finished his tour. There he met the love of his life. On April 1, 1978 Reginald and Joyce Davis were united in Holy matrimony. They have three children. God Blessed them to be together for 46 years. He joined the Army, where he retired after 20 years. He received a Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Republic of Vietnam Champaign Medal. He received many more Medals, Badges, and ribbons. After he retired he worked for Star - Telegram Newspaper, UPS and AT&T. He joined First Saint John. He loved serving God and the Church, He was a Deacon. The Angle of Peace called him home. He reunites in eternity with His Father, Mother, four brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter. He leaves to cherish his memories wife Joyce Timms, daughter Carlesha Davis Timms, two sons Reginald Timms II, Reggie L. Timms, two brothers Walter Hawinks (Rachael) , Michael Hawkins, one sister Dale Burnett, five sister in laws, Sherrel Davis, Wanda Hoyle, Mitzi Davis, Debra Timms and Beverley Timms of California. Nine Grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A host of devoted nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Two very special people in his life Baby girl and Cowboy.
