O BITUARY Robert L. Coleman Sr. was born to the late Frank Coleman and Carrie Bell Nelloms on July 31,1942. Throughout his childhood his grandmother was a pivotal point in life. His grandmother used tough love to help raise him. She also left a special tasty treat in his mouth that he loved. He recalled the discipline and harsh treatment for bad behavior. It was that type of parental skills that made Robert the type of person he grew up to be. He had a strong work ethic. He worked at GM Auto Production Plant. He also did automotive repair business from his home in his back yard. He serviced many of his friends, family, and neighbors. He will be missed by every single person that benefited from his service. To know Robert was to love Robert. He was a lover of people. He was always making a way to help someone. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mozell J. Coleman; two daughters, De Wanda J. Coleman and Chorlottiea L. Harris (Thomas J Harris Jr.); one son, Robert L Coleman Jr. (Rhonda Coleman); grandchildren, Robert, Racheal, Natasha, Lorenzo, Tyrese, Thomas (Andramona), Joshua, Jeremiah, Clara; great grandchildren, Renia, Bayli, Aston, Chelsea, Chanelle, Ella, Z'andrious, Joshua, McKennzie; and a host of many other family members and friends that are to many to list.

B ROKEN C HAIN

We little knew the day that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
