Mr. Roy Lee Murphy was born December 12, 1948 in Henry County, Alabama to the late Ulyess Murphy and Ida Bell Murphy. He departed this life Sunday December 4th, 2022, At Charleston Methodist hospital in Dallas, TX he was United in Holy matrimony to Juanita Murphy who preceded him in death on January 1st, 2001, to this union two children were born Christopher Murphy and Andre Murphy of Dallas, Tx.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers Edward

Murphy and Arthur Murphy.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Andre Murphy (Victoria) and his nine children: Desiree Marshall Murphy, Brianna Johnson, Andreah Murphy, Ahniesiah Murphy, Au ’ leah Murphy, Andre Murphy, Jr., Dalonte Hickman, Orlando Hickman, Javon Hickman; Christopher Murphy (Sunny) and his four children Destiney Woods, Deven Murphy, Christan Murphy, Niyah; aunts and uncles Johnnie Smith, Jean & Nathanel Gray, James & Noami Murphy, Bobby & Goergina Murphy; four great - grandchildren of Desiree Marshall Murphy: Avianna Marshall, Camilla Wright, Kamaya Wilbron, Kaleb Wilbron, and a host of cousins and friends.
