Ruth Sims, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great

grandmother, was a pillar of strength to her family and friends.

She peacefully left this world on July 2, 2023, at her home in

Dallas, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Muskogee,

Oklahoma to Jim Morrison and Pearl Daniel Morrison, she lived a

long and fulfilling life, characterized by love, kindness, and

selflessness. Her only sibling, Eugene Morrison, preceded her to

Ruth was a pillar of strength and an inspiration to all that had the

privilege to know her. She had a warm smile, a gentle demeanor,

and unwavering optimism that brought comfort and joy to those

around her. Ruth also had an innate ability to uplift spirits and

make every person that she encountered feel valued and loved.
