AMother
A Mother seems to understand the things that can’t be said; a Mother goes beyond our words and reads our hearts instead. A mother shows the love she knows with tenderness so true; when God gave me a Mother
I’m glad God gave me you.
My best friend, my biggest fan and the greatest joy of my life. You gave me more than
I could ever repay. Thank you Mama.
Your loving daughter, Tiffany .
Life Reflections Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Cook Trimble, often referred to lovingly by her family as “Nez”, was born February 11, 1936, in Center Point, TX, and was the youngest child of Bill Cook and Maudie Fletcher Cook, both of whom preceded her in death. Early in life, Sarah heard the call and decided to follow the Lord and was bap- tized into the Church of Christ. As a young person Sarah attended primary and secondary school in Center Point, before graduating from Center Point School. She chose a career as a domestic engineer and with an entrepreneurial spirit, worked for herself for many years. Sarah married the love of her life Percy Trimble Sr. and to that beautiful union, she was blessed with 6 chil- dren. Percy Sr. served proudly in the U.S. Army, and fought bravely in the Korean war. Years later Percy Sr., preceded Sarah in death. She remained his widow until her passing. Mrs. Trimble was also preceded in death by her daughters, Beverly Jean Trimble and LaTanya MaShawn Trimble, her son, Terry Wayne Trimble, her siblings Emma Lou, Lizza Mae, Geneva, Matt (Pip), Tim, John Raymond (Buddy), Thomas Odell (Bully), Ophelia, Thelma, Annie Mae, Evelyn and most recently her dear sweet sister Frankie Virgin- ia. Sarah was adored by all who knew her. She had a sweet happy demeanor, a generous and helpful spirit, was quick as a whip, witty, funny and loved to laugh. Sarah’s love of the Lord was shown daily in the way she loved and cherished her family. She loved people, never turning away a person in need. Whether you needed shelter from the world or a hot meal, whether you needed wise counsel or a helping hand, or just someone who cared to lend an ear, a mom or a friend, Sarah embodied all of those qualities and so many more. Said plainly, she was simply an amazing human being. Sarah had an unparalleled passion for caring for children and was such a proud mother and grandmother. Have we mentioned yet how great of a cook and baker she was? Her turkey and dressing, collard greens, hot water cornbread, fried catfish and Mexican cornbread will be among the many meals missed most by her family. Mrs. Trimble was a devout sports fan but her unwaver- ing allegiance was to her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. A huge flatscreen was a mandatory electronic in her home, any sports season you could easily find her surrounded by her family and friends watching the game. Amongst, her favorite things to do, was shopping with her son Percy, where she’d find a gem to com- pliment either her well decorated home, beautiful yard or her snazzy wardrobe. Her love for gardening helped her to create one of the most beautiful yards in her neighborhood for many years, she passed her green thumb down to her daughter Rhonda. Sarah quietly and peacefully departed this life at home on April 3, 2022, surrounded by those she loved the most, her family. Mrs. Trimble is survived by her devoted son Percy Trimble Jr. (Natalie), her loving daugh- ters, Rhonda Gail Trimble and Tiffany Danielle Moore. She will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, Chelsea E. Trimble, M.Sgt. Kori D. Trimble (U.S. Airforce, Korea), Toi S. Trimble, Taylor N. Fontenette (Marcus), Janay N. Jones (Charles), Justin T. Trimble, Jaylen J. Trimble, Nicholas C. Trimble and 13 great grandchildren, all of whom stayed close to her in Texas. She also leaves a sweet sister, Verna R. Hickman, Oakland CA, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Well done, Mrs. Trimble, well done.

L EGACY OF L OVE A wife, a mother, a grandma too, This is the legacy we have from you You taught us love and how to fight You gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another Not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best And now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep. Love, Your Family
Granny, simply. Thank you. Marching On, Taylor

Your Niece, Sadie and the Girls (Tilda, Tammy and Tasha) T O M Y S PECIAL A UNT N EZ I’ve learned that people will sometimes forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Auntie, we shared so many great memories, things only the two of us would know. You added laughter and hope to my heart, and love and blessings to my soul. You touched my life in ways few others have, by being the wonderful aunt you are and will forever remain. Know you are so very dear to my heart and one of my most favorite people by far. Rest well, Auntie, I’ll see you on the other side. Your loving niece, Barbara
G OD S AW Y OU G ETTING T IRED God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be So he put His arms around you and whispered “Come to me” With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you pass away And although we love you dearly
We could not make you stay A golden heart stopped beating Hardworking hands to rest God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best We love you Momma
Cherished Memories
Acknowledgement Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you prayed a sincere prayer or came to pay a call. Perhaps you sang a cheerful song, if so, we heard it all. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you prepared a tasty dish, or maybe furnished a car. Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from afar. Whatever you did to console our hearts, by word or deed or touch. Whatever was the kindly part, we thank you, oh so very much.
