Shataria Laquan Gray, aka Tay Tay, was born on January 5, 2002, to the parentage of Sandra Denise Miller and Sherman Lee Gray. Shataria, accepted God as her Lord and Savior, at a young age. She attended Dallas Independent School District and graduated high school from Mesquite Academy in 2019. Shataria “Tay Tay” was the neighborhood daycare. She loved children and the children loved “Tay Tay”, as they would affectionately call her. Shataria would call and demand parents to drop their children off and parents would drop their children off and leave them in her care. Shataria was a quiet, sweet, pure hearted, humble and selfless person. If she had something and you needed it, it was yours. Shataria loved “beating” her own face and her face only. She was considered as a “Daddy’s Girl” Tay Tay, had a very special bond with both of her parents, but she was indeed a “Daddy’s Girl”. Shataria, aka “Tay Tay”, leaves to cherish her memory, her loving parents; Sandra Denise Miller and Sherman Lee Gray: her loving brother, NaKenndrick Miller (Leah); her loving sister, Addison Grace Miller; grandmothers, Diane Davis and Dorothy Britt; uncle, Jermaine Gray; aunts, Letitia Curd (Kenneth), Reamonda Nickles (Horace), Veronica Hood and Mila Miller; nephews, Kaidin Miller, King Lewis; favorite cousins, Ke’Aundra Hood, Teagan McElroy, Isaac Fleming and a host of family and friends. She is welcomed into Heaven and preceded in death by her loving grandparents; Joe Earl and Rebecca Miller, Tenzle Lee Gray, great grandparents; Thelma Lee Foster, Joe Miller, Effie Kate Young, and William Hood.
