Tara Jefferson-Edwards Program
Tara Roshelle “Lady T” Jefferson - Edwards in Fort Worth Texas, was called home to be with the Lord, on Thursday September 1, 2022. Tara was born on March 21 ,1977 in flint Michigan, to mother, Dorothy Jefferson and father, Timothy Hall. She was widowed but now rejoins her best friend and husband, Otis Glenn Edwards. She is also greeted by her grandmother, Louella Chapelle whom she had an endearing and close relationship with. She liked watching the Warriors and the Cowboys unfortunately, and she loved to read. She was a faithful and devoted believer in Christ, and she raised her children the same way. She was a member of Deliverance Church of God in Christ in Flint, Michigan, and she was a member of Prayer Tower Church of God In Christ. Wherever she went she made her mark and her presence was known as a great host, friend, confidant, and advisor. Whatever you needed she was either going to give it to you or figure out how she could. She didn’t believe in the word “No”, (unless it was to the kids). She would give the shirt off her back and then some. She was loving, caring, compassionate, and all around an amazing woman and on today we celebrate her life and legacy. She leaves her two sons behind to cherish her memory: Greg Lamont Horn, Jr. and Tarik Tremelle Ross, two brothers; Lorenzo Jefferson and Marcus Chapman, two beloved sisters; Rowdanna Hall and Vamrolyn Chapman, an ample amount of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews as well as a plethora of friends who have contributed to her life and legacy along the way, to love and cherish her memories. We take solitude in knowing that she is no longer in pain and suffering but watching over us from above as we continue to honor her and make her proud. We always remember that the storm endures for a night but joy cometh in the morning.
