Life Reflections of Thelma Adams

Thelma Adams was born August 30, 1932 to the parents of Obie Lewis and Lucille Lewis in Tulsa, OK. Thelma Adams was baptized in 1977 at Cherry Valley Church of Christ, she came from her family church Mount Moriah Baptist in Milford, TX. Thelma Adams was a Daycare Director at Cherry Valley Church of Christ as well as other daycare centers in Desoto & Waxahachie. While married to A.D Adams in the Air Force, she worked as a seamstress as well. She also worked in Italy, Texas as a cook at Diary Queen. Thelma Adams loved to sew, cook and take care of her children and grandchildren. Thelma Adams siblings Gladys, Willie, and Helen, preceded her in death. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by Beatrice Randle (her sister); Jimmy Lewis (her sister in law); her children, Dana Adams (Barbara), Helena Adams, Alfred Adams Sr., Jerry Adams (Loretta), and Shanon Adams ( Patricia); her grandchildren, and great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and special friends. .
