L IFE R EFLECTIONS Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven . ~ M ATTHEW 5:16 T HURSTON L AWRENCE M ATSON J R . received his breath of life from God on October 6, 1958 and became a living soul. Thurston was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Thurston Lawrence Matson Sr., born in Conroe, Texas whom is deceased and Charles Etta Matson. His Step Father, Mr. James Davis whom is now deceased was instrumental in his early childhood upbringing even until adult. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Taylor and brother, Bruce Matson. He met Trinda V. Matson at an early age and from prom date 5 years later, he asked and she said “YES” and she became his lifemate on January 16, 1982. They became one in Holy Matrimony and was blessed with three sons. As their vows stated; in sickness and in health, until death do us part; it still remained 41 years later. Thurston was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, brother and proud grandfather (Poo Paw). He will truly be missed and forever in their hearts: loving wife, Trinda V. Matson; sons, Thurston Lawrence Matson Jr. III (Keidra), Terence Lawrence Matson, Trent Lawrence Matson Sr. (Comella); mother, Charles Etta Davis; sister, Donna Passon; brother, Chris Matson (Linda); grandson, Trent Lawrence Matson Jr. (TJ), and a special
recognition to a truly and dedicated friend for many years, through thick and thin, Lance Duncan. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of multitude of family member and friends.
