Recessional

If tears could build a stairway And memories make a lane, We would walk right up to Heaven To bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken No time to say Good - bye. You were gone before we knew it. And only God knows why. Our hearts, they ache in sadness And secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you, No one will ever know. You are with the Angels High in your heavenly home, We would have held you closer, If we had only known.

You never said I’m leaving You never said, goodbye, You were gone before we knew it And only God knows WHY? In Life, I loved you dearly In Death, I love you still In my heart I hold a place That only you can fill. It broke my heart to lose you But you didn’t go alone, A part of me went with you The day God took you home. To our dearest mother and best friend, you will be missed. We enjoyed your time on earth with us. I has been a blessing having you as our mother that we will treasure forever. With Love Your Daughters, Juicy & Domikia

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you prayed a sincere prayer or came to pay a call. Perhaps you sang a cheerful song, if so, we heard it all. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you prepared a tasty dish, or maybe furnished a car. Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from afar. Whatever you did to console our hearts, by word or deed or touch. Whatever was the kindly part, we thank you, oh so very much. May God Bless Each of You! - T HE F AMILY A CTIVE P ALLBEARERS
