His Story… T YREE P ARRISH D URANT was born December 6, 1948 to the parents of John Durant and Alma Durant of Houston, TX. Tyree was the 2 nd eldest son of eleven boys and one girl. His family lived in several counties but settled in San Bernardino, California in1950’s. He was educated in San Bernardino School District. He completed his education at a college in Texas. He joined the Marine Corps and served in active combat during the Vietnam Era. He served his country with honor. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Durant, Alma Durant; son, Tyree Durant; five brothers, Lester, Lanny, Gerald, Eric, and Reginald Tyree was a man of integrity, perseverance and determination and faith. He believes in standing up straight looking a person in his eyes with a firm handshake or friendly pat on the back and giving the same respect to everyone he met as was garnered by him as he entered a room. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, LeNease Norman-Durant; children, Cynyun Durant, Parrish Durant, Kasey Durant, Emil Durant, Curtis Durant, Eric Norman; brothers, Micheal Durant, Cedric Durant, John Durant, Roderic Durant, Randall Durant; sister, Susan Stevenson; sisters-in-law, Yvette Durant, Victoria Darling, Gwen Durant and Jennifer Durant; two brothers-in-laws, Orbra Norman Jr. and Marcus Stevenson; twelve grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.

Respected, loved and/or cherished by all that knew him. He will truly be missed .
