Golden Gate Funeral Home

On Thursday December 21 st , God called home our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and pastor. Tyree was born on June 18, 1973 in Washington, D.C. and was the son of Rena Mae Posey and Earl Hutchins. From infancy, Tyree was raised by his grandmother Suzie Nelson Jenkins in Salley, S.C. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army. Tyree accepted Jesus Christ at the age of sixteen and years later accepted his calling into the ministry. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. As a pastor, he had a passion to serve God and God’s people with all his heart. On June 17, 2006, Tyree married Alesia Lacks. He was a devoted and loving husband. He leaves to cherish loving memories: his wife Alesia Posey, Donovan Compton (whom he loved as his very own son), his mother Rena Mae Posey, his father Earl Hutchins, mother in law Linda Lacks, one sister Hattie Heyward (Roger), one brother Bernard Posey, sister in law Katrina Long (Dexter), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
