In loving memory of Velinda “ Lynn ” Williams, a devoted woman of God who was born on June 28, 1954, to the parents of Floy and Maurice Williams, Sr. She lived a life filled with unwavering faith, kindness, and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her. Lynn was a loving Mother and Grandmother aka “ Big Mama, ” dedicated Wife, caring Sister and Sister - in - law, cherished Aunt, and devoted Friend who embodied the teachings of love and gratitude found in her Christian faith. Her legacy of love, grace, and selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey. May she rest in eternal peace. Velinda “ Lynn ” Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Lee Williams, Sr., son Anthony “ Skeeter man ” Williams, stepdaughter Sonya Smith, parents Floy and Maurice Williams, Sr., two brothers Maurice Williams, Jr., and Bobby Williams, and three sisters Sandra “ Kaye ” Williams Foster, Wendolyn and Gwendolyn Williams. Velinda “ Lynn ” Williams is survived by her son, Ira Lee Williams, Jr., three stepdaughters, Roshanda “ Roe ” Richmond (Rodney), Irish Burch (Don) and Kathy Talton (Cedric), and two stepsons, Kenneth Williams, and Carl Smith (Christina), one loving and devoted sister Lady Andrews (the late Herschel Andrews, Sr.), two brothers Bishop Gary Williams, Sr. (Mary), Earl Williams, Sr. (Kim), two special sisters - in - law, Brenda Williams (the late Maurice Williams, Jr.), and Linda Williams (the late Bobby Williams). As she was affectionately known as “ Big Mama ” she will be dearly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
