You weren’t just my mother — you were my best friend, my teacher, and my greatest giŌ from God. Even though it hurts to let you go, I know your spirit will live on in me. Everything I am, is because of everything you gave me. I will honor you, carry your lessons, and love you for the rest of my days. Rest peacefully, Mom. Mom, you were my first teacher, my protector, and my biggest supporter. You showed me what true strength and love look like, and you gave me a foundaƟon that will guide me for the rest of my life. You were the one I could always depend on, the one whose wisdom and comfort carried me through every season. Your love shaped me into the man I am today, and for that, I am for ever grateful. Though I will miss you more than words can express, I know your spirit will always be with me — in my heart, in my choices, and in the way I live my life. Rest peacefully, Mom. Your son loves you more than anything, and I will carry your love and lessons with me always. JR… Dear Grandmother, my Angel,

Thank you for all the wonderful years we spent together. You helped shape me into the wom an I am today, and I will always be grateful for the lessons you passed down. You taught us the importance of God, family, and food — and you made sure each of your kids and grandkids carried those values with them. Those lessons weren’t just words, they were how you lived your life: with love, faith, and generosity. I miss your hugs, your laughter, the way you always made everyone feel welcome and the way you a curse someone out using every curse word in the dicƟonary in one breath. The kitchen was your heart, and it’s impossible to think about family meals without remembering you at the center of it, making sure everyone was fed and happy. Not only did you pass down your recipes. You taught me that food wasn’t just about eaƟng — it was about bringing people together, about love shared at the table. There are days

when I wish I could just sit beside you again, hear your stories, and soak up your wisdom. But even though you’re in heaven now, I sƟll feel you with me. I see you in the tradiƟons we keep, in the prayers we say, and even in the way we cheer when the Cowboys are playing. I know you’d sƟll be rooƟng for them from your seat up above.
