Our Angel Up in Heaven

Our angel up in heaven, we wanted you to know, we feel you watching over us, everywhere we go. We wish you were here with us, but that can never be, Memories of you in our heart, that only we can see. Our angel up in heaven, we hope you understand, that we would give anything, 1f we could hold your hand. We'd hold you oh so tightly, and never let you go, and all the love inside of us, to you we would show. Our angel up in heaven, for now we are apart, You'll al ways live inside of us, deep within our hearts .

It is not well to weep because of death. Death is no enemy of man. It is a friend who, when the work is done, just cut the cord that binds the human boat to earth so that it may sail on to smoother seas. No language can describe a mother’s worth and yours was tried and true. But she was not called hence until her task was done. The calls of death are always for best, for we are solving problems there as well as here and one is sure to find himself or herself where he or she solves problems best. It is but selfishness that makes one wish to call again to earth departed souls. Therefore let your mother rest in peace. Just let her noble life be strength and inspiration unto you “2ndtoNone”. You earned your spot. The Angels could not wait. I love you and thank you for allowing the blessing of you sharing your life with me. Love you always Kitty. Bey

To My Mother A R OSE A BOVE ~ L ETTER TO H EAVEN We little knew that morning, That God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone; For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

If roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me, place them in my Mothers arms

and tell her they’re from me. Never Selfish, Always kind, These are the Memories You left behind. Tell her that I love her and miss her,

and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. God called you home, you left us peaceful memories,

Because remembering you is easy, I do it everyday, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away . Love, Rashida

Mom’s Inspiring Love

Dear Mom, Your enduring love, a timeless compass, guided me through the vast expanse of time, threading whispers of cherished moments in childhood and shared ascents through life's challenges. Your letters, each stroke a delicate dance of affectionate ink, stand as an everlasting testament to the unbreakable bond we held.

Morning calls, an echo of encouragement, composed a symphony that resonated with wisdom, harmonizing with the rhythm of our lives. Thank you for championing all my dreams, instilling the value of kindness in all endeavors. Despite the challenges, I am steadfast in honoring your cherished wishes. You fondly reminded me that I was your little Christmas present, finding joy in shared meals and the story behind why drumsticks held a special place in my heart. As the milestone of 41 approaches, my heart aches for the familiar echo of your voice. Though tears may fall, they cloak joyous memories, for your love remains the eternal sunrise that bathes my heart in warmth and gratitude.

With love from your grandchildren, your legacy lives on in the laughter you shared, the lessons you imparted, and the love that will endure through generations. As we collectively pen these words in your honor, we celebrate the remarkable woman you were a wellspring of comfort, strength, and boundless love. Your memory, etched in the delicate strokes of our shared experiences, will forever be our guiding light.

With love and enduring gratitude, Tonya Rae, Lee, and Grandchildren

Dear Momma, I wish I could turn back the hands of time to hug you one more time, oh how I yearn for a mother's touch. I wish I could turn back the hands of time to be there to go shopping with you once more. I wish I could turn back the hand of time to hear your loving voice sing to me once more. Momma we were supposed to go to the spa and have lunch on tomorrow, but I know I can't turn back the hands of time, so from now on, I promise to always cherish the hugs and kisses you gave me, the times we had to "strike that pose", the days you'd call and sing to me when I was feeling down or just to show how much you loved me. I'll miss you more and more each day. As much as we all wanted more time, I guess God needed you more. Your mini-me promises to continue to make you proud. Get your rest. I Love you, Mom Elisha

To My Loving Mom, To my loving mom, you've held my hand, Through so many years and supported me, through my joys and my tears. I am forever grateful for all that you are, and all that you taught me to be, for without you there is no me. For all of the times I forgot to thank you, for the million special things you do, for all the words I don't always say, I need to say. "Mom, I love you". Love, Larry

To Our Sister If we could give you one thing in life, we would give you the ability to see yourself through our eyes, only then would you realize, how special you are to us. A sister is God’s way of making sure we never walk alone. Thank you for being our sister. If we had a different sister, we would punch her in the face and go find you.

Rest well, my love…Until Dr. Asadi Shamsid-Deen II

Love You Forever Your Siblings

I love you big sister. Not even death can keep us apart. Forever always in my heart. Jamillah

We are so proud of you big sister… I’m still your baby sister, Lateefah

Forever Yours, Masud “Tinky”

First Cousins Remembering the Times Ecclesiastes 3:1 says To Everything there is a season and a time Today as we give tribute to Our Cousin We are remembering through these lines. The scripture says: A time to be born, A time to die Our Cousins circle has been broken again, we struggle with why. The scripture also says: A time to mourn, A Time to dance, God knows how we feel so we thank him for another chance, To Celebrate our Cousin in this Sad but an Awesome way, By Remembering the times when we got together back in the day: At Aunt Halimah and Uncle Asadi’s place, But we can’t forget those times at Big Mama’s house and Mother’s we say, Then again we remember the times we had at Aunt Helen’s, Uncle Herman’s and Aunt Jo Ann’s in that day, In each of those houses so much Love was shown in an awesome way. We also remember the times when Cousins stuck together and got together Well this is the time when the Cousins get together, mourn together, cry together while remembering this day. When we celebrate our Cousin’s home going to that special place, The scripture says: A Time To war, A Time at Peace. Well our Cousin will no longer have to fight the war of life, Our Cousin is at Peace, God has taken her home so no more pain, misery or strife. So now Cousins we will remember the times when it was fun, Although our circle has been broken again, the rest of our Cousins have time to bond. Although it’s sad we Celebrate our Cousin Yaminah on this day,

Our Cousins Circle has been broken again still we must reach out, and gather to say, We love each other and show each other love more each and every day.

Love, Cousin

Don't grieve for me now, I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too shall miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow; I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full; I've savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me; God wanted me now - He set me free.

Acknowledgement During these trying hours, the presence of friends, family and loved ones have been one of our sustaining elements. Your prayers have increased our faith. Your words have encouraged our sad hearts. Your presence has given us an arm to lean on. Your food has helped us to maintain our strength, the fragrance of flowers, the gifts, the thought of every card, the visits and the phone calls added a touch of beauty to a setting that was full of gloom and because of you the burden that seemed so heavy is lighter now. The family of Yaminah
