Life Story of Robert Glaspie

Robert valued family, love, and unity. He showed his care not through grand gestures, but through consistency—being there, listening, offering a steady hand, and sharing a comforting smile. His life was a reflection of grace, patience, and a wisdom that came from living with intention and compassion. Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Aisha Glaspie. His son Robert Duncan (and spouse Heather Duncan); and his stepsons Menelik Lemons, Kabral Lemons, and Nigel Hill. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren Kaja’Rai Duncan, Robert Duncan Jr., Kairo Lemons, and great-granddaughter Kimonie Hune. He is also survived by his sister Bobby Alford, brother Roy Graves, extended family, beloved nieces and nephews, and close friends who loved him dearly.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Susie Mae Glaspie, father Single Glaspie, and sister Betty Smith (Glaspie).

His legacy of love, humility, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
