Anthony Stubblefield was born on October 3, 1979, to Mattie Shaw and Willie Price Jr. Anthony was raised by his loving and compassionate mother, alongside the steady guidance of his stepfather, Kenneth Shaw. From a young age, Anthony accepted Christ into his heart and remained a devoted servant of the Lord throughout his life, always striving to live with purpose, humility, and grace. As the eldest sibling to his brother Marvin Stubblefield and sister Elboni Shaw, Anthony embraced the role of protector and leader, always putting family first. He attended Bryan Adams High School and graduated from South Garland High School, where he showcased his athletic talents on the basketball court. Anthony's passion for music led him to a remarkable career as a rapper and producer under the name Stubb- A -Lean. Rising from humble beginnings, he carved out a powerful presence in the hip-hop world, later becoming a proud member of Star City Records and Kodiene Musiz. His journey took him across cities, where he performed, inspired, and collaborated with major artists, including unforgettable moments when he stood as the star himself. Alongside his musical endeavors, Anthony ventured into the fashion industry with his clothing line, Drank Headz, showcasing his unique style. His music was more than entertainment—it was a bridge through space and time, connecting people through shared stories of resilience, ambition, and truth. His sound reflected his heart, and his legacy continues to echo in every beat and lyric. Anthony always gave generously of his time and resources, consistently extending a helping hand to those in need. His heart was as big as his talent, and his impact reached far beyond the stage. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfather, Booker T. Stubblefield, and his father, Willie Price Jr. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength cherished by his beloved mother, Mattie Shaw; stepfather, Kenneth Shaw; his brother, Marvin Stubblefield (Kendra); his sister, Elboni Shaw; his aunts, Annie Stubblefield, Ruby Brock, and Mary Stubblefield; his uncles, Bobby Stubblefield and Booker T. Stubblefield; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Now, free of earthly trials, Anthony rests in eternal peace. He is with our Savior, Jesus Christ, rapping with grace and joy, performing a song like no other in the presence of the Lord. His light will never dim, and his music will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched.

S EE YOU LATER , MY BIG BROTHER S TUBB -A-L EAN It's hard to believe I'm really writing this. There are so many things I wish I could tell you—things I thought we'd have more time to share. You were more than just my brother; you were my protector and my friend. You always loved having fun, cracking jokes, and simply enjoying life. To know you was to love you! I cherish the advice you gave me; it was always genuine and unbiased. I will carry you with me always, in my heart, in my thoughts, and in the person, I continue to become. Your love and laughter inspire me to do my best and make you proud. Rest peacefully, my brother. Thank you for everything you gave me: your wisdom, your love, your stubbornness (LOL), and for teaching me to stand firm and hold my own. I promise you, big brother, I will always stay true to myself. Not goodbye but see you later!
Love, Your Little Sister, Your Biggest Fan!!! Eboni Shaw (Candi Lean)
A M ESSAGE FROM M Y H EART : T RIBUTE TO M Y B ROTHER Bro, this is unreal, you should still be here. There were so many years we hadn’t lived yet, so many stories left unwritten. You leaving took a piece of me that nobody ever is going to get. It was US bro. “2Faces1Tear”! I always looked up to you, I was proud to be your brother, you had a big heart, we never had a fight or argument, maybe a disagreement and that was it, it was always love between us. You were a real genuine person that was loved by so many, you lit up rooms when you walked in. Even though your time here was shorter than it should’ve been, your impact was lasting. It’s not fair, you were meant to be here. It’s hard for me, but I trust that God’s got this. I’m not going to question Him: I’m just going to pray and ask Him for strength every day-for me and the family. Just know that I’ll use everything you taught me and keep being a great man, looking after our family. I love you forever bro! #2Faces1Tear! Love your Lil bro!!! Marvin Stubblefield (RayDub)
In loving memory of my precious grandson, whose spirit brought light into our lives. Though our hearts ache with your passing, we celebrate the joy and laughter you shared with us. Your bright smile and kind heart were reflections of the love that surrounded you. We will forever cherish the memories and hold you close in our hearts. Rest peacefully, knowing you are deeply loved and will never be forgotten. Love you forever baby - Momma Lou In loving memory of our dear nephew, Anthony Stubblefield, your vibrant spirit and infectious laughter brought endless joy to our lives. You touched our hearts in profound ways, and your kindness and warmth will never be forgotten. Though you have left us too soon, the cherished memories we shared will forever remain in our hearts. With love, your aunts - Annie Stubblefield, Mary Stubblefield, Ruby Brock We watched you grow with pride and love, and your spirit brought joy to every room. Though your time with us was far too short, your memory will live on in our hearts. You were more than a nephew, you were a light in our lives, and that light will never fade. With Love, your uncles, Bobby Stubblefield, Booker T Stubblefield Jr. From our side of the family, Stubb wasn’t just a cousin or nephew — he was one of us. When my Daddy (Uncle Jr.) got his kids’ names tattooed, he made sure Stubb and Dub were right there too, showing how deeply he valued their bond beyond uncle and nephew. He watched Stubb grow from a little boy, from early mornings driving him from Pleasant Grove to South Garland High, into a man. Stubb's connection with our older brothers, Moon and Big A, ran even deeper. They being more like brothers than cousins. Growing up side by side, running together, making money, and having fun, extending the bond our father built. We, his little cousins, watched him become a pillar both in the streets and in the hip hop community. He was a shining example that we could dream big, build bridges, and make a name for ourselves and our family. Now he joins the strong line of Stubblefield ancestors — cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents — who love and welcome him home.
Rest Easy, Stubb. Love, Uncle Jr., Big A, Moon, Pumpkin, Milo, and Baby Nique
Love you always fam! Cousin - Bruce Brock (Duck)

The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide. And though I cannot see you. You’re always by my side.
