Arthur Barrett Program

Arthur (Ray) Barrett was born September 23, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of the late Arthur D. Barrett and Mildred Faye Barrett. Arthur received his formal education in the Dallas Public Schools. He accepted Christ at an early age. Arthur was a loving and devoted big brother. He loved to take care of his family and help others who were in need.

He departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his three brothers; Dexter Barrett (Patty), John Michael Barrett (Detra) and Charles Barrett, two sisters; Clara Faye Collins (Ricky) and Brenda Eaton (Greg), and his nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

Our brother is always with us, even after he passed away. Every beautiful thing that we see and experience will remind us of his love. We will also accept all of life's challenges because our brother wisely taught us that they help us grow stronger.

Don’t think of him as gone away, his journey’s just begun. Life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrow and the tears, In a place of warmth and comfort, there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today, How nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched….. For nothing loved is every lost and he was loved so much.

I cried when you passed away. I’m still crying today. Although I loved you dearly. I couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best. Rest Easy Big Brother, I will always love you.
